Benefits of Womb Hara

The womb is more than a physical organ, and the hara, an energetic center in the lower abdomen, is traditionally associated with vitality, grounding, and creative life force energy.

Physically, this work may be supportive through menstrual challenges, fertility journeys, miscarriage, postpartum transitions, and digestive or pelvic concerns.

Emotionally and energetically, sessions offer space to be with grief, anger, sadness, and other difficult emotions held in the body from life experience or thresholds, while deepening your connection to deep inner wisdom, peace, and self-trust.

Spiritually, the womb can serve as a doorway to the unseen, inviting connection with ancestral memory, intuition, and the deeper mysteries of life.

My intention is to create a sacred, compassionate space where every woman feels safe and cared for to fully receive, because I believe that when we feel truly held and supported, the body’s innate capacity to heal can begin to unfold.

What To Expect

Sessions begin with discussions of your intake and conversation around what brought you in and what you are desiring from our work together.

From there, the session follows an intentional structure while allowing space to focus on your individual needs, focusing on the abdominal, sacral, and womb areas to stimulate the flow of Chi—your vital life force energy—clearing blockages and stagnant energy in your physical, emotional, and spiritual body

Womb & Belly Healing sessions follow a deeply restorative, body-centered approach. Because every woman is different, your session may incorporate:

  • Therapeutic abdominal, womb, and sacral bodywork focusing on vital energetic pathways of the body

  • Gentle pelvic and fascial release

  • Breathwork

  • Sound therapy or tuning forks

  • Castor oil therapy and vaginal steaming (if/when appropriate)

  • Rebozo womb wrapping

Supportive practices and self-care recommendations may also be offered to complement and continue the healing process.

About Me

Hi, I’m Miriam

Former Pelvic Physical Therapist, Womb-Practitioner and Breathwork Guide

I’ve always felt strongly. I could often sense what lived beneath the surface before anyone spoke it aloud. In my years as a pelvic physical therapist, I could feel what women were carrying underneath their symptoms, the unspoken wounds they were trying to heal but didn’t have the language for yet.

I hold space for women carrying deep pain from—menstruation, sexual and medical trauma, infertility, pregnancy, loss, birth, motherhood, menopause, and other life-altering moments. The wounds of these experiences, which pull us away from ourselves, are also what guide us home.

Through presence and intuition I take women beneath their story to process what truly wants to be honored. This is where you find deeper understanding and trust in your body and life itself.

What Is Womb Hara?

Womb Hara™ is external, hands-on bodywork focused on the abdomen, womb space, sacrum, and diaphragm, drawing from traditional abdominal techniques and womb-centered bodywork. In Eastern traditions, the abdomen is understood as the body’s energetic core, while hara refers to the lower belly, associated with grounding, vitality, and life force.

This work aims to ease abdominal tension and adhesions, encourage tissue mobility and healthy circulation, supporting digestive and hormonal balance, deeper breathing through the diaphragm, and promote digestive and pelvic well-being. Traditionally, abdominal bodywork has also been used to support concerns such as low back and abdominal pain, digestive issues, irregular bowel movements, painful or irregular periods, uterine positioning, and fertility.

Beyond the physical, Womb Hara invites a deeper connection with the womb and the body as places of emotional and spiritual wisdom. Through intentional touch and focused attention, this practice can create space to explore emotions, reconnect with intuition, and tend to experiences that may feel held in the body.

Spiritually, the womb may be experienced as a sacred portal to ancestral wisdom and a deeper connection with yourself and the mysteries of life.
